Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Patron, The Prince’s Countryside Fund, this morning visited Tindle Newspapers, Nevill Street, Abergavenny, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gwent (Mr Simon Boyle).

His Royal Highness, President, the National Trust for Places of Historic Interest or Natural Beauty, and President, Prime Cymru, this afternoon visited Tredegar House, Newport.

The Prince of Wales later received the Rt. Hon. David Jones MP (Secretary of State for Wales).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Ewenny Priory, Ewenny, Vale of Glamorgan, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Dr Peter Beck).

The Princess Royal this morning opened West Bank House, Stroud Court Community Trust, Stroud Court, Longfords, Minchinhampton, and was received by Mr Robert Bernays (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire).
