Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency Mrs Felleng Mamakeka Makeka was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Kingdom of Lesotho in London.

His Excellency Mr Joaquim da Fonseca was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon and presented his Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs. Barbara de Oliveira was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon Fraser (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, the Art Room, this morning officially opened the new Icap Art Room at Northolt High School, Eastcote Lane, Northolt, Middlesex.

The Earl of Wessex, Master, the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, and The Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended a Lunch at the Old Bailey, London EC4.

His Royal Highness, Master, the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, and Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Ladies Banquet at Mansion House, London EC4.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, London College of Fashion, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Princess Royal today carried out the following engagements in St Petersburg, Russia.

Her Royal Highness this morning laid a wreath at Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetary, Nepokorennykh Prospect.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, subsequently visited the Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul, and the St Petersburg Mint, Peter and Paul Fortress.

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later visited the Anglo-American School, 3-5 Tatarskiy Lane.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon visited Icebreaker Krasin.

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, afterwards visited the Hermitage Museum, 2 Palace Square.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, subsequently visited Tensar and opened the new Factory, Astronomicheskaya Street, Petrodvorets.

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later arrived at Heathrow Airport from the Russian Federation.

Captain Nicholas Wright RN was in attendance.
