COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

The Queen held a Council at 12.40 p.m.

There were present: the Rt Hon Nicholas Clegg MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Daniel Alexander MP (Chief Secretary to the Treasury), the Rt Hon Owen Paterson MP (Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs) and the Baroness Warsi (Senior Minister of State, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and Minister for Faith and Communities, Department for Communities and Local Government).

Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt Hon Nicholas Clegg MP had an audience of Her Majesty before the Council.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Marshal, Royal Air Force, this afternoon visited Royal Air Force Air Defence Radar Museum at Royal Air Force Neatishead, Norwich, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (Mr Richard Jewson).

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by Colonel Toby Browne (Crown Equerry) at the Funeral of Mr Peter Scott Dunn (formerly Veterinary Surgeon) which was held in All Saints Church, Wokingham, Berkshire, today.

The Prince of Wales was represented by Colonel Robert French Blake.

The Princess Royal was represented by Mrs Timothy Holderness-Roddam.

Clarence House

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay this morning visited Ballater Caravan Park, Anderson Road, Ballater, Aberdeenshire.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Gordon Highlanders Museum, this evening gave a Reception.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Haberdashers, this morning held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Vice Patron, Commonwealth Games Federation, this afternoon attended a Lunch at the Mansion House, London EC4, to mark the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The Earl of Wessex, President, Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association, this afternoon held a Meeting.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Honorary Member, the Society of Merchant Venturers, this morning visited Colston’s Girls’ School, Cheltenham Road, Bristol, and later opened the Kingfisher School, Lichfield Road, St Anne’s Park, Bristol, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs John Prior).

Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, Hft, this afternoon opened the Supported Living Apartments at 241 Redcatch Road, Bristol.

Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park

Princess Alexandra, President, Sightsavers, this morning departed from Gatwick Airport, London, for the United Arab Emirates and later arrived in Abu Dhabi.

Mrs. Brian Duke is in attendance.
