COURT CIRCULAR
Buckingham Palace
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning arrived at St Leonard’s Terrace, Chelsea, London SW3, and drove through Burton Court which was lined with Cadets, Guides and Scouts, before arriving at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness were received at the Royal Hospital by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir David Brewer) and the Governor (General Sir Redmond Watt).
The Queen, escorted by the Governor, and The Duke of Edinburgh, escorted by Major General Peter Currie (Lieutenant Governor), attended a Solemn Drumhead Service in Figure Court in remembrance of those who gave their lives in the Great War.
After the Service Her Majesty and His Royal Highness moved into the Chapel and met book writers and archivists before being presented with a book on the “History of the London Volunteer Reserve Forces 1908-1914”.

Prince Henry of Wales this morning visited the 11th Fire Brigade “George Garland” of Valparaiso, Chile.
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Techo site in Valparaiso and met members of the community rebuilding after the recent fire.

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, The London Regiment, this morning attended the Solemn Drumhead Service at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London SW3.

The Princess Royal, having been received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk (Mrs Marjory McLachlan), took the salute at the march past on National Armed Forces Day in Stirling and, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, afterwards attended the Drumhead Service.

Princess Alexandra, Royal Honorary Colonel, Royal Yeomanry, this morning attended the Solemn Drumhead Service at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, London SW3.
