Palace of Holyroodhouse
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh arrived at Edinburgh Airport this afternoon.
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness drove to the Palace of Holyroodhouse and were received in the Forecourt by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost) and members of the City of Edinburgh Council, and Flag Officer Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland (Rear Admiral Christopher Hockley).
The Queen, accompanied by The Duke of Edinburgh, was received with a Royal Salute and Her Majesty, escorted by the General Officer Commanding Scotland (Major General Nicholas Eeles), inspected the Guard of Honour found by The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Scotland, under the command of Major Stephen Dallard which was mounted in the Forecourt.
Afterwards the Rt Hon the Lord Provost surrendered to Her Majesty the Keys of the City, which The Queen returned to him.
Subsequently Her Majesty and His Royal Highness were received inside the Palace of Holyroodhouse by the Hereditary Keeper (the Duke of Hamilton and Brandon).
Clarence House
The Prince of Wales this morning visited Cnwd Food, Cross Hands Business Centre, Heol Parc Mawr, Cross Hands, Carmarthenshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed (the Hon Robin Lewis).
His Royal Highness, Patron, the Campaign for Wool, this afternoon visited Melin Tregwynt Mill, Castle Morris, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
The Prince of Wales later visited Caws Cenarth Cheese, Glyneithinog, Lancych, Boncath, Carmarthenshire.
The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening gave a Reception for charities and voluntary groups.

The Duke of Cambridge and The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, Place2Be, today attended the Place2Reflect Conference at the Royal Society of Medicine, 1 Wimpole Street, London W1.

Prince Henry of Wales this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Chile.
Sir David Manning, Mr Edward Lane Fox, Mr Steven Kingstone and Mr Nicholas Loughran were in attendance.
Buckingham Palace
The Earl of Wessex, Patron, Royal Exchange Theatre Company, this morning visited the Royal Exchange Theatre, St Ann’s Square, Manchester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr. Warren Smith).
His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon visited Chetham’s School of Music, Long Millgate, Manchester.
The Earl of Wessex later opened the Woodview Centre at Wigan and Leigh Hospice, Kildare Street, Hindley, Lancashire.
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary Member, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, this evening attended a Reception at The Queen’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace, to mark the Inauguration of the next Global President.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent, President, All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, today attended the Lawn Tennis Championships in Church Road, Wimbledon, London SW19.
Thatched House Lodge, Richmond Park
Princess Alexandra, Patron, House of St. Barnabas, this evening attended a Service to Commemorate One Hundred and Fifty Years of Worship in the Chapel of St. Barnabas, Manette Street, London W1.
Appendix to Court Circular
The Queen has been pleased to appoint Colonel Richard Charrington to be one of Her Majesty’s Body Guard of the Honourable Corps of Gentlemen at Arms upon the retirement of Major Jeremy Warren.
The appointment to date from 24th June, 2014.
The Queen has been pleased to make the following appointments in Her Majesty’s Household:
Professor Huw Thomas to be Head of the Medical Household and Physician to The Queen.
Mr. Alan Farthing to be Surgeon Gynaecologist.
Mr. Guy Thorpe-Beeston to be Surgeon Gynaecologist to the Household.
