His Excellency M Yousef Ali Al-Khater was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the State of Qatar to the Court of St. James’s.

Mrs Al-Khater was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr. Lazarus Amayo was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Kenya in London.

Mrs Amayo was also received by Her Majesty.

Mrs Deborah Bronnert (Chief Operating Officer of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office) was present.

The Rt Hon Sir Nicholas Soames MP was received by The Queen and delivered up the Insignia of the Order of the Garter worn by his mother, the late Baroness Soames.
