Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by The Earl of Wessex, accompanied by The Countess of Wessex, at the Funeral of The Duke of Fife which was held at St Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Brechin, Angus, today.

The Prince of Wales was represented by the Earl of Dalhousie.

The Duke of York was represented by Mr Charles Butter.

The Princess Royal was represented by Mrs Charles Ritchie.

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were represented by The Lady Saltoun.

The Duke and Duchess of Kent were represented by Lieutenant Colonel Johnny Stewart.

Princess Alexandra, the Hon Lady Ogilvy was represented by Mr James Ogilvy.

The Baroness Evans of Bowes Park (Baroness in Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, on the evening of 5th July upon the Arrival of The President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Mrs Sebija Izetbegovic and welcomed His Excellency and Mrs Izetbegovic on behalf of The Queen.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust, and Patron, Glamorgan County Cricket Club, this morning met members of the England and Australia Ashes Test teams and young people working on The Prince’s Trust hospitality programmes, at the Swalec Stadium, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan (Dr Peter Beck).

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Trust, and President, Business in the Community, today visited Too Good To Waste, Ynyshir, Rhondda Cynon Taff, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Mid Glamorgan (Mrs Kathrin Thomas).

The Prince of Wales, President, this afternoon visited young people on The Prince’s Trust training programmes at Her Majesty’s Prison and Young Offenders Institution Parc, Bridgend.

His Royal Highness this evening received Miss Anne Denholm upon her appointment as harpist to The Prince of Wales, and members of the Harp Panel.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening gave a Reception for charities and voluntary groups.

The Duke of York this evening arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Papua New Guinea.

Lieutenant Jack Cooper RN was in attendance.

The Princess Royal, President, Save the Children United Kingdom, this afternoon attended a Reception at the Town Hall, Wells, to mark the Fiftieth Anniversary of Wessex Walks and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mrs Richard Maw).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, afterwards visited Mendip Citizens Advice Bureau at the Town Hall, Wells.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this afternoon attended the Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon, London SW19.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, this morning attended the Lawn Tennis Association President’s Luncheon at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, President, All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, today attended the Lawn Tennis Championships at Church Road, Wimbledon, London SW19.
