Buckingham Palace

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh, with The Duke of Cambridge, The Duke of York, The Earl and Countess of Wessex, The Duke of Gloucester, The Duke of Kent, Prince Michael of Kent and Princess Alexandra, the Hon. Lady Ogilvy, from the Balcony of Buckingham Palace, this morning witnessed a fly-past by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and Typhoon aircraft of the Royal Air Force to mark the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

A Feu de Joie was performed by the Old and New Guards, found by The Queen’s Colour Squadron, Royal Air Force, on the Forecourt of Buckingham Palace.

Afterwards the Rt. Hon. Nicholas Clegg MP had an audience of The Queen and took leave upon relinquishing his appointments as Deputy Prime Minister and Lord President of the Council.

The Rt Hon Daniel Alexander MP had an audience of Her Majesty and took leave upon relinquishing his appointment as Chief Secretary to the Treasury.

The Rt Hon Edward Davey MP had an audience of The Queen and took leave upon relinquishing his appointment as Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Patron, Royal Mersey Yacht Club, this morning received Mr Trevor Tansey upon relinquishing his appointment as Commodore and Mr Michael Blaylock upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, Marshal of the Royal Air Force, this afternoon attended a Luncheon given by the Chief of the Air Staff at the Royal Air Force Club, 128 Piccadilly, London W1, to mark the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

The Duke of Edinburgh later opened the West Yorkshire Police Training Complex, Carr Gate, Bradford Road, Wakefield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Dr Ingrid Roscoe).

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Soil Association, this morning visited a Duchy Future Farming Programme Field Laboratory at Maesllwyni Farm, Penegoes, near Machynlleth, and was received by Mrs Tia Jones (Deputy Lieutenant of Powys).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Prime-Cymru, and President, the Cambrian Mountains Initiative Trust, this afternoon visited Nanteos Mansion, Aberystwyth, Ceredigion, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed (the Hon Robin Lewis).

The Prince of Wales, President, Business in the Community, later visited Glanyrafon Arms, Talgarreg, Ceredigion, as part of The Prince of Wales’s “Pub is the Hub” Initiative.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Coningsby, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Royal Air Force Club, 128 Piccadilly, London W1, to commemorate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Waddington, and The Countess of Wessex, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Wittering, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Royal Air Force Club, 128 Piccadilly, London W1, to commemorate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited the European Union Force and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Headquarters, Aerodromska, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Her Royal Highness, President, Save the Children United Kingdom, afterwards visited the Save the Children Centre at Hamdije Cemerlica 19, Sarajevo.

The Princess Royal this afternoon attended a Reception for Chevening Scholars, Fellows and members of the British Council given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina (His Excellency Mr Edward Ferguson) at the Residence in Sarajevo.

Her Royal Highness subsequently attended a British Business Club Reception given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Residence.

The Princess Royal received Mr. Bakir Izetbegovic (Member of the Presidency and Leader of the Party of Democratic Action) at the Residence of Her Majesty’s Ambassador.

Her Royal Highness afterwards attended a Facts, Association, Meaning and Action Project launch at Gallery 110795, Trg Fra Grge Martica, Sarajevo.

The Princess Royal later attended the launch of the Srebrenica Empowerment Project at the Hotel Bristol, Fra Filipa Lastrica 2, Sarajevo.

Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Dinner at the Building of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Maršala Tita 16, Sarajevo.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Air Force Odiham, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Royal Air Force Club, 128 Piccadilly, London W1, to commemorate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this afternoon attended the Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon, London SW19.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Honorary Air Chief Marshal, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at the Royal Air Force Club, 128 Piccadilly, London W1, to commemorate the Seventy Fifth Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
