The Princess Royal today departed Heathrow Airport, London, for the Bahamas and was received upon arrival this afternoon at Lynden Pindling International Airport, Nassau, by Mrs Elise Delancy (Chief of Protocol for the Government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas).

Her Royal Highness this evening called upon the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas (Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling) at Government House, Nassau.

The Princess Royal, President, Caribbean-Canada Emerging Leaders’ Dialogue (part of The Duke of Edinburgh’s Commonwealth Study Conferences), afterwards attended a Reception at Government House.

Her Royal Highness subsequently attended a Dinner at the Breezes Resort and Spa, West Bay Street, Nassau.
