The Duke of York this morning attended Pitch@Palace on Tour for entrepreneurs and potential supporters, Manchester Science Partnerships, Alderley Park, Macclesfield, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire (Mrs Joelle Warren).

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch with Manchester Science Partnerships, Alderley Science Park.

The Duke of York subsequently visited the offices of Blueberry Therapeutics, Alderley Science Park.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited the offices of Red-X Anti-Infectives, Alderley Science Park.

The Duke of York this evening attended a Financial Services Dinner at Aberdeen Asset Management, Bow Bells House, 1 Bread Street, London EC4.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today held Receptions at St James’s Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Countess of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Switzerland and this afternoon arrived at Geneva International Airport.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Combined Services Winter Sports Association, this evening watched the Snowboard Parallel Slalom Floodlit Finals and presented prizes in Meribel, France.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Combined Services Winter Sports Association, later attended a Dinner at l’Orée du Bois Hotel, Meribel.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this morning officially opened the new Pathology First Hub Laboratory, Bentalls, Basildon, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (the Lord Petre).

His Royal Highness this afternoon officially opened the Bradbury Centre, Homeless Action Resource Project Limited, 103-107 York Road, Southend-on-Sea, Essex.

The Duke of Kent later officially opened the Forum, Elmer Square, Elmer Avenue, Southend-on-Sea.
