The Lord Petre (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex) was present at Stansted Airport this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

Mr Jonathan Douglas-Hughes (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Essex) was present at Stansted Airport this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Macedonia and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.

Mr Denis Rensch (Deputy Lieutenant of Essex) was present at Stansted Airport this afternoon upon the Arrival of The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the Landmark Trust, this afternoon attended a Fiftieth Anniversary Reception at St James’s Palace.

His Royal Highness afterwards held a Meeting with representatives from the Crown Estate.

The Prince of Wales later received the Rt Hon David Miliband (President and Chief Executive Officer, International Rescue Committee).

His Royal Highness, Founder, In Kind Direct, afterwards held a Meeting.

The Prince of Wales this evening received the Hon Robert Stokes MP (New South Wales Minister for Planning).

His Royal Highness subsequently attended a Reception held by Her Majesty’s Government on the occasion of the Syria and the Region London 2016 Conference at Lancaster House, St James’s, London SW1.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, the National Literacy Trust, today undertook the following engagements in support of the National Literacy Trust Hub, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant (Sir Hugh Duberly).

Her Royal Highness this morning attended a Children’s Literature Festival at Peterborough Cathedral.

The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited Boots Opticians, Unit 2, 1-4 Long Causeway, and met participants involved in the Schools Challenge Initiative.

Her Royal Highness subsequently attended a Reception for supporters of the Peterborough Hub at Peterborough Town Hall, Bridge Street.

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Honorary Colonel, Royal Wessex Yeomanry, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Combined Services Winter Sports Association, today carried out the following engagements in Meribel, France.

Her Royal Highness today attended the races.

The Countess of Wessex later attended the Combined Services Winter Sports Association Tenth Anniversary Celebration.

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner at l’Orée du Bois.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal this morning departed from Royal Air Force Brize Norton, Oxfordshire, for Cyprus and this afternoon arrived at Royal Air Force Akrotiri and was received by Commander British Forces Cyprus and Administrator of the Sovereign Base Areas (Air Vice-Marshal Michael Wigston).

Her Royal Highness this evening attended a Dinner at Flagstaff House, South Paramali Estate, Episkopi.

Commander Anne Sullivan, Royal Navy, is in attendance.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, President, the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution, this afternoon received Mr Christopher Riddle upon relinquishing his appointment as Chairman and Mr Malcolm Thomas upon assuming the appointment.

Mr Paul Burrows (Chief Executive) was present.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge England, this afternoon attended a Rulers’ Lunch at Freemasons’ Hall, 60 Great Queen Street, London WC2.
