Buckingham Palace

The Queen, Patron, The Queen’s Trust, this morning visited Lister Community School, St Mary’s Road, Plaistow, London E13, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr Kenneth Olisa), the Headteacher (Mr Anthony Wilson) and the Mayor of the London Borough of Newham (Sir Robin Wales).

The Queen listened to choir and orchestra performances, observed classroom demonstrations and met students, teaching staff, governors and charity representatives.

The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited the Samuel Pepys: Plague, Fire, Revolution Exhibition at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London SE10, and was received by Dr Pieter van der Merwe (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

His Royal Highness, Patron, Wildscreen, this afternoon held a Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.

The Duke of Edinburgh, Honorary Member, Imperial Poona Yacht Club, this evening attended a Tiffin at the Royal Thames Yacht Club, 60 Knightsbridge, London SW1.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex today undertook the following engagements in Nassau, the Bahamas.

The Earl of Wessex this morning called upon the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas (Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling) at Government House, Duke Street.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, later visited St. Augustine College, 11 Patton Street, Palmdale.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, afterwards visited C.V. Bethel Senior High School, East Street South.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon attended Rangers’ Divisions followed by a Lunch at the Royal Bahamas Defence Force Headquarters, HMBS Coral Harbour.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, and The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Reception for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award at Queen’s College, Village Road.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, and The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, later attended a Dinner at the Royal Nassau Sailing Club, East Bay Street.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon called upon the Governor-General and subsequently attended a Lunch at Government House.

Her Royal Highness later visited Garvin Tynes Primary School Centre for Autism, Alexandria Boulevard, Sunset Park.

The Countess of Wessex afterwards attended a Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Hearing Centre of the Bahamas.

The Princess Royal, Master, the Corporation of Trinity House, this morning visited Trinity House, Tower Hill, London EC3.

Her Royal Highness later presented The Princess Royal Award for the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers at Buckingham Palace.

The Princess Royal, President, National Equine Forum, this afternoon attended the Annual Forum at the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, One Birdcage Walk, London SW1.

Her Royal Highness, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, this evening attended the Fortieth Anniversary Celebrations of the Hyde Park Group at Hyde Park Barracks, Knightsbridge, London SW7.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Nuffield Farming Scholarships Trust, this afternoon attended a Luncheon at Savills, 33 Margaret Street, London W1.

His Royal Highness, Patron, British Homeopathic Association, this evening attended a Reception at Vintners’ Hall, Upper Thames Street, London EC4.
