The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this morning visited Hamilton and Inches Limited, 87 George Street, Edinburgh, to mark their One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Mr Donald Wilson, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost), the Chief Executive (Mr Stephen Paterson) and Mr Ross Haston (Managing Director).
Her Majesty and His Royal Highness toured the building meeting craftsmen and members of staff.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh this afternoon visited Musselburgh Racecourse, Linkfield Road, Musselburgh, to mark the Two Hundredth Anniversary of racing at the course and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of East Lothian (Major Michael Williams), the Chief Executive (Mr William Farnsworth) and the Provost of East Lothian (Mr Ludovic Broun-Lindsay).
Her Majesty, with His Royal Highness, afterwards honoured Musselburgh Races with her presence.

The Prince of Wales, President, Prime – Cymru, this morning visited Llandovery Bike Festival, Kings Road, Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Dyfed (Miss Sara Edwards).
His Royal Highness, Patron, University of Wales Trinity St David, today attended a Degree Ceremony in Lampeter, Cardiganshire.
The Prince of Wales, President, Business in the Community, this afternoon visited the New Inn, Llanddewi Brefi, Tregaron, Cardiganshire, as part of The Prince of Wales’s “Pub is the Hub” Initiative.
Kensington Palace
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today attended the Royal International Air Tattoo at Royal Air Force Fairford and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
Buckingham Palace
The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning visited Dundee City Council, 21 City Square, Dundee, to celebrate the Diamond Anniversary of the Award and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Dundee (Councillor Robert Duncan, the Lord Provost).
Buckingham Palace
The Princess Royal this morning opened the new Headquarters of Clydesdale Community Initiatives, Langloch Farm, Hyndford Road, Lanark, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire (Mr Mushtaq Ahmad).
Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened Forgewood Community Centre, 2 Dinmont Crescent, Motherwell, Lanarkshire.
The Princess Royal later visited Glasgow Airport, Paisley, on the occasion of its Fiftieth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Mr Guy Clark).

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary President, the Lawn Tennis Association, this afternoon attended the Championships at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, Wimbledon, London SW19.
St James’s Palace
The Duke of Kent, Patron, Kent County Agricultural Society, this morning visited Kent County Show at Kent Showground, Detling, Maidstone, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Kent (the Viscount De L’Isle).
