His Excellency Mr. Hamid Baeidinejad was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Court of St. James’s.
Mrs. Baeidinejad was also received by Her Majesty.
His Excellency Dr. Durga Bahadur Subedi was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal to the Court of St. James’s.
Mrs. Subedi was also received by Her Majesty.
Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.
The President of the Republic of Namibia and Mrs. Geingos visited The Queen this afternoon.
Her Majesty, Patron, later visited Goodenough College, Mecklenburgh Square, London WC1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Mr. Kenneth Olisa), the President of the Advisory Council (Professor René Weis), Mr. Eric Tracey (Chairman of the Board) and Councillor Nadia Shah (Mayor of the London Borough of Camden).
The Queen toured the College, escorted by Major General Andrew Ritchie (Director) before attending a Reception with members of the College, Governors, Fellows, alumni and staff.
The Duke of Edinburgh, President, Emeritus, World Wide Fund for Nature – International, this afternoon presented The Duke of Edinburgh Conservation Award and held a Luncheon at Buckingham Palace.
His Royal Highness, Past President, Royal Commission for the Exhibition of 1851, this evening attended a Reception at Buckingham Palace.

His Royal Highness this morning attended an outreach activity at National Heroes Square by the Barbados HIV Commission to mark World AIDS Day.
