Buckingham Palace

The Queen held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The following Canadian Chiefs of Staff were received later by Her Majesty: General Jonathan Vance (Chief of Defence Staff), Vice-Admiral Ronald Lloyd (Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy), Lieutenant-General Paul Wynnyk (Commander of the Canadian Army), Lieutenant-General Michael Hood (Commander of the Royal Canadian Air Force) and Lieutenant-General Stephen Bowes (Commander Canadian Joint Operations Command).

The State Counsellor and the Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of Burma (Her Excellency Daw Aung San Suu Kyi) visited The Queen and remained to Luncheon.

The Duke of Cambridge was present.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning received the State Counsellor and the Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of Burma (Her Excellency Daw Aung San Suu Kyi).

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended the judging session for BBC Radio 2’s 500 Words creative-writing competition at Wogan House, 99 Great Portland Street, London W1.

The Duke of York, Founder, Pitch@Palace, today carried out the following engagements in San Francisco, California, United States of America.

His Royal Highness this morning attended a Meeting with SV Angel at 588 Sutter Street.

The Duke of York later visited LinkedIn, 1000 West Maude Avenue, Sunnyvale.

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended a Lunch at Andreeson Horowitz, 2865 Sand Hill Road, Menlo Park.

The Duke of York later visited RocketSpace, 180 Sansome Street.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Trustees, Prince Philip Trust Fund for the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, this evening held a Reception at Windsor Castle for the Royal Windsor Jaguar Festival followed by a Dinner in the Norman Tower, Windsor Castle.

The Princess Royal this morning opened the Avon and Somerset Constabulary Wilfred Fuller VC Operational Training Centre, Davis Lane, Clevedon, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mrs Richard Maw).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Women’s Royal Naval Service Benevolent Trust, this afternoon attended the Annual General Meeting and Reception at Swordfish Centre, Fleet Air Arm Museum, Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, Somerset.
