By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) called upon His Excellency Mr Thordur Aegir Oskarsson at 2A Hans Street, London SW1, this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as Ambassador from the Republic of Iceland to the Court of St James’s.

Prince Henry of Wales this evening attended the Mind Media Awards at 24-26 Leicester Square, London WC2, and was received by Wing Commander Michael Dudgeon (Vice-Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Earl of Wessex, Honorary Member, this morning visited the Incorporation of Coopers of Glasgow at the Trades House, 85 Glassford Street, Glasgow, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Eva Bolander, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the University of Stirling, Airthrey Road, Stirling, in celebration of their Fiftieth Anniversary, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Stirling and Falkirk (Mr Alan Simpson).
The Countess of Wessex, Ambassador, Women of the Future Programme, this afternoon held a Reception at Buckingham Palace.
Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Awareness Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, Scarsdale Place, Kensington, London W8.
