His Royal Highness, President, British Sub-Aqua Club, afterwards presented The Duke of Cambridge Prize at Kensington Palace.

The Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon visited Hornsey Road Children’s Centre, 8 Tiltman Place, Hornsey Road, London N7.

The Countess of Wessex, Royal Colonel, 5th Battalion The Rifles, today attended a Welcome Home Parade at Ward Barracks, Bulford Camp, Salisbury, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire (Mrs Peter Troughton).

The Princess Royal, President, Animal Health Trust, this morning chaired an Industry Committee Meeting and a Council of Management Meeting at the Kennel Club, Clarges Street, London W1.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the British Nutrition Foundation, this afternoon attended the Fiftieth Anniversary Annual Day at the Royal College of Physicians, 11 St Andrews Place, London NW1, and was received by Sir Ian Johnston (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Princess Royal, President, the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce, this evening attended the President’s Lecture and Dinner, 8 John Adam Street, London WC2, and was received by Lieutenant-Colonel Kevin Traverse-Healy (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Kent this morning officially opened the University Centre Farnborough Building, Farnborough College of Technology, Boundary Road, Farnborough, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).

His Royal Highness later visited Haystack Dryers Limited, Unit 1, Pintail Business Park, 165 Christchurch Road, Ringwood, Hampshire.

The Duke of Kent this afternoon visited Apollo Fire Detectors Limited, 36 Brookside Road, Havant, Hampshire.

Princess Alexandra, President, this afternoon presented Royal Humane Society Awards at Buckingham Palace.

The Queen has been pleased to appoint the Reverend Canon David Glover to be a Chaplain to Her Majesty in succession to the Reverend Canon John Byrne.
