Today is the Seventieth Anniversary of the Marriage of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.

Her Majesty invested His Royal Highness with the Insignia of a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Baroness Vere of Norbiton (Baroness in Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this morning upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Ghana and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning arrived at Gatwick Airport, London, from Antigua and Barbuda.

Mr Scott Furssedonn-Wood, Mr Julian Payne, Mrs Eva Williams and Dr Suzanne Farrar were in attendance.

Kensington Palace

Prince Henry of Wales this morning received Mr Christopher Parker (Chairman, Oak Foundation).

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this afternoon arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Mexico.

Mrs Amanda Thirsk was in attendance.

The Countess of Wessex, Vice-Patron, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, this morning visited Sher-e Bangla Medical College, South Alekanda, Band Road, Barisal, Bangladesh.

Her Royal Highness, Vice-Patron, The Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust, afterwards visited community education projects at Textile More and Dobdobia Bridge, Fultola, Barisal.

The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this evening attended a Reception for Orbis at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Shahid Saifuddin Road, Chittagong.
