Buckingham Palace
The Queen, Visitor, this morning visited the Royal College of Physicians, 11 St. Andrew’s Place, London NW1, on the occasion of its Quincentenary, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa) and the President (Professor Jane Dacre).
Her Majesty viewed the original 1518 Charter and a display marking the life and work of William Harvey, and met College Officers, Council Members, trainee doctors and patients and carers.
The Queen this afternoon visited London Fashion Week at 180 Strand, London WC2, and was received by Professor Caroline Rush (Chief Executive, British Fashion Council).
Her Majesty toured the showrooms, met designers and viewed a runway show, and presented Mr. Richard Quinn with the inaugural Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh were represented by the Right Reverend and the Rt. Hon. the Lord Chartres (Dean of Her Majesty’s Chapels Royal) at the Funeral of the Right Reverend John Bickersteth (formerly Clerk of the Closet and Head of Her Majesty’s College of Chaplains) which was held in St. Thomas’s Church, Salisbury, Wiltshire, this afternoon.

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, the National Osteoporosis Society, this evening attended a Dinner in London.

The Duke of Cambridge this morning visited Triumph Motorcycles Limited, Normandy Way, Hinckley, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire (Jennifer, Lady Gretton).

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon held a Development Group Meeting.
The Countess of Wessex, Colonel-in-Chief, Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, this morning received Colonel Alison McCourt upon assuming the appointment as Chief Nursing Officer.

The Princess Royal, Patron, the Injured Jockeys Fund, this afternoon visited the renovated Oaksey House facilities, Lambourn, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr. James Puxley).
Her Royal Highness, Patron, Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, this evening attended a Reception to mark the establishment of the College’s Children’s Research Fellowship Fund, Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, 5-11 Theobalds Road, London WC1, and was received by Ms. Roxane Zand (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Duke of Gloucester this morning officially opened the newly restored Headquarters at Cubic Transportation Limited, AFC House, Honeycrock Lane, Salfords, Redhill, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr. Michael More-Molyneux).
His Royal Highness later presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise: International Trade to Mark Roberts Motion Control Limited, Unit 3, South East Studios, Eastbourne Road, Blindley Heath, Surrey.
