Buckingham Palace

Mr Christopher Pincher MP was received by The Queen today and delivered up his Wand of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as Comptroller of the Household when Her Majesty handed to him his Wand of Office as Treasurer of the Household.

Mr Christopher Heaton-Harris MP was received by The Queen and delivered up his Wand of Office upon relinquishing his appointment as Vice-Chamberlain of the Household when Her Majesty handed to him his Wand of Office as Comptroller of the Household.

Mr Mark Spencer MP was received by The Queen upon his appointment as Vice-Chamberlain of the Household when Her Majesty handed to him his Wand of Office.

The Vice-Chamberlain of the Household was received in audience by The Queen and presented an Address from the House of Commons to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

The Lord Henley was received by The Queen this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as a Lord in Waiting to Her Majesty.

The Baroness Buscombe was received by The Queen upon relinquishing her appointment as a Baroness in Waiting to Her Majesty.

The Baroness Stedman-Scott was received by The Queen upon assuming her appointment as a Baroness in Waiting to Her Majesty.

By command of The Queen, Mr Alistair Harrison (Marshal of the Diplomatic Corps) received His Excellency Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan Bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin at St James’s Palace this morning in order to bid farewell to His Excellency upon relinquishing his appointment as High Commissioner for Brunei Darussalam in London.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, this morning visited the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, 27 Sussex Place, London NW1, and was received by Dr Mary-Clare Parker (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon delivered the keynote speech to officially launch the Nursing Now campaign, St Thomas’ Hospital, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1, and was received by Mrs Colleen Harris (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, today visited Holyport Real Tennis Club, Holyport Street, Holyport, as part of His Royal Highness’s The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Real Tennis Tour 2018, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr James Puxley).

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon attended a Lunch at the Royal Oak Paley Street, Littlefield Green, near Maidenhead, Berkshire.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, later visited Manor Green School, Elizabeth Hawkes Way, Maidenhead.

His Royal Highness, Chancellor, University of Bath, this evening held a Dinner.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Learning and Work Institute, this morning attended “Positive Transitions: supporting young adult carers in learning and work” discussions at Hallam Conference Centre, 44 Hallam Street, London W1, and was received by Mrs Sandra Cahill (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, UK Coaching, this afternoon attended a Research Conference at the Museum of Science and Industry, Liverpool Road, Manchester, and was received by Mr Paul Young (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester).

The Princess Royal, Prime Warden, the Fishmongers’ Company, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended the Livery Civic Dinner, Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Royal Patron, Lilongwe Wildlife Trust, this afternoon received Dr Naomi Doak (Head of Conservation Programmes, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Grand President, this morning visited the Masonic Charitable Foundation, Freemasons’ Hall, 60 Great Queen Street, London WC2.

His Royal Highness, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge of England, this afternoon attended the Rulers’ Lunch at Freemasons’ Hall.
