The Earl of Wessex, Royal Colonel, 2nd Battalion The Rifles, this morning attended the Welcome Home Parade in Lisburn and visited Thiepval Barracks, Magheralave Road, Lisburn, having been received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim (Mrs. Joan Christie).
The Countess of Wessex this morning received students from the Jaye Malta Foundation at the Residence of the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Malta, who gave presentations to Her Royal Highness on their projects.
The Countess of Wessex afterwards visited Fort Saint Elmo Museum, Valletta, Malta.

The Princess Royal, Royal Patron, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People, this morning opened the Welcome Centre, the Grange, Wycombe Road, Saunderton, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire (Sir Henry Aubrey-Fletcher, Bt.).
Her Royal Highness, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the Grand Military Race Meeting at Sandown Park Racecourse, Portsmouth Road, Esher, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Surrey (Mr. Michael More-Molyneux).
The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon officially opened Ward’s-Ivy Grove boarding house at Wycliffe College, Bath Road, Stonehouse, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Dame Janet Trotter).
Her Royal Highness afterwards officially opened the Creative Arts Block at Marling School, Cainscross Road, Stroud, Gloucestershire.
