Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York, Chairman of Trustees, the Outward Bound Trust, this morning chaired a Trustees’ Meeting at Buckingham Palace.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of Trustees, the Outward Bound Trust, this afternoon held a Lunch at Buckingham Palace for supporters.

The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, The Yorkshire Regiment (14th/15th, 19th and 33rd/76th Foot), later received Lieutenant Colonel Samuel Humphris upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 2nd Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel B Westcott upon assuming the appointment, and Lieutenant Colonel Mark Yates upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 4th Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel G Yates upon assuming the appointment.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning attended a Meeting at Gulliver House, Madeira Walk, Windsor, Berkshire.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, this afternoon visited Caring For Life, Crag House Farm, Otley Old Road, Cookridge, Leeds, and was received by the Lord-Lieutenant of West Yorkshire (Dame Ingrid Roscoe).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust, afterwards opened the Clinical Research Facility at Leeds Children’s Hospital, Clarendon Wing, Leeds General Infirmary, Leeds.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Leeds Teaching Hospital NHS Trust, this evening attended a Dinner at Harewood House, Leeds.

Buckingham Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the British Nutrition Foundation, this afternoon launched the Sixth Healthy Eating Week for Schools at Three Ways School, 180 Frome Road, Odd Down, Bath, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mrs Richard Maw).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Joint Patron, Thames Landscape Strategy, this evening attended the Annual Summer Garden Party at the Nash Conservatory, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, Richmond, Surrey.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Patron, London Philharmonic Orchestra, this evening attended a Gala Evening, Guildhall, Gresham Street, London EC2.
