The Prince of Wales this morning opened the Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre, Bardon Mill, Hexham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Northumberland (the Duchess of Northumberland).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Hexham Farmers’ Market, Beaumont Street, Hexham. The Prince of Wales later visited Hexham Abbey.

His Royal Highness, Patron, The Prince’s Countryside Fund, this afternoon visited Kirkharle, Northumberland, the birthplace of Lancelot “Capability” Brown.

The Prince of Wales afterwards attended a Reception at Kirkharle for beneficiaries and supporters of Upper Teesdale Agricultural Support Services.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Salmon and Trout Conservation UK, later visited Kielder Salmon Centre, Kielder Water and Forest Park, Kielder, Northumberland.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon received Mr Miguel Head upon relinquishing his appointment as Private Secretary to His Royal Highness.

The Duke of Cambridge, Patron, Royal African Society, later attended a Reception at the British Academy, 10-11 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex this afternoon received Mr Edward Lane Fox upon relinquishing his appointment as Private Secretary to Their Royal Highnesses.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning arrived at Aberdeen International Airport, Dyce, Aberdeen, from Hungary.

Mrs Amanda Thirsk was in attendance.

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon visited the Racquet Club of Philadelphia, 215 South 16th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States of America, as part of His Royal Highness’s The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Real Tennis Tour.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening attended a Dinner at the Philadelphia Club, 1301 Walnut Street, Philadelphia.

The Countess of Wessex, Honorary President, Linking Environment And Farming Education, this morning visited the Farmschool, Annables Farm, Annables Lane, Harpenden, for the Linking Environment And Farming Education Conference, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hertfordshire (Mr Robert Voss).

Her Royal Highness, Chairman, Women in Business Committee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon attended a Meeting in Cumbria.

The Countess of Wessex, President, Westmorland County Agricultural Society Limited, this evening attended a Stewards’ Supper at Westmorland County Showground, Lane Farm, Crooklands, Milnthorpe, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cumbria (Mrs Claire Hensman).

The Princess Royal this morning opened the iPort Intermodal Rail Freight Facility, Railport Way, Doncaster, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of South Yorkshire (Mr Andrew Coombe).

Her Royal Highness, Colonel, The Blues and Royals (Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), this evening attended the Fiftieth Anniversary Dinner of the Blues and Royals Club at the Cavalry and Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1.
