COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Fred Arruda was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Lenice de Almeida Nobrega Arruda was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Isselkou Ahmed Izid Bih Neye was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Islamic Republic of Mauritania to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Mariem Sidi Bouna was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

Admiral of the Fleet the Lord Boyce was received by The Queen this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as King of Arms of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath and delivered up to Her Majesty the Insignia of Office.

Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton was received by The Queen upon his appointment as King of Arms of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath when Her Majesty handed to him the Insignia of Office.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Colonel, Welsh Guards, this afternoon presented Operational Service Medals to 1st Battalion at Elizabeth Barracks, Brookwood, Pirbright Camp, Woking, Surrey.

His Royal Highness, Colonel, Welsh Guards, afterwards held a Regimental Council Meeting at Elizabeth Barracks.

The Prince of Wales, Great Master, the Most Honourable Order of the Bath, later received Admiral of the Fleet the Lord Boyce upon relinquishing his appointment as King of Arms and Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton upon assuming the appointment.

The Duchess of Cornwall, on behalf of The Queen, this afternoon visited London Fashion Week, 180 Strand, London WC2, and presented The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design, and was received by the Reverend Canon Dr Flora Winfield (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Sussex this morning attended a Fit and Fed holiday programme at Streatham Youth and Community Trust, John Corfield Centre, Conyers Road, London SW16, and was received by Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Traverse-Healy (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Today is the Anniversary of the Birthday of The Duke of York.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, UK Coaching, this afternoon attended a Research Conference at Pride Park Stadium, Pride Park, Derby, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Derbyshire (Mr William Tucker).

Kensington Palace

The Duchess of Gloucester, Honorary Liveryman, this morning officially opened the “Basketry: Weaving the Cycle of Life” Trade Fair at Guildhall, Gresham Street, London EC2, to mark the Four Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers.

Princess Alexandra, Patron, Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service, this afternoon received Captain Steven Spencer upon relinquishing his appointment as Head of the Naval Nursing Service and Captain Alison Hofman upon assuming the appointment.

Her Royal Highness, Patron and Air Chief Commandant, Princess Mary’s Royal Air Force Nursing Service, received Group Captain Michael Priestley upon relinquishing his appointment as Matron-in-Chief and Group Captain Fionnuala Bradley upon assuming the appointment.
