COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency Ms Manisha Gunasekara was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Court of St James’s.

His Excellency Mr Tamba Lamina was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Sierra Leone to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Lamina was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

Sister Dorothy Mawdsley was received by The Queen when Her Majesty invested her with the Insignia of a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Colonel-in-Chief, The Parachute Regiment, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel Geoffrey Hargreaves upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer 3rd Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel Mark Swann upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, Patron, Cobseo, the Confederation of Service Charities, this afternoon received General Sir John McColl (Chairman) and Brigadier Ian Caws (Director of Operations).

The Prince of Wales, Honorary President, the Royal Academy Trust, received the Lord Davies of Abersoch (formerly Chairman).

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, this morning visited the Medical Detection Dogs Headquarters, Great Horwood, Milton Keynes, and was received by Mr Alexander Boswell (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Buckinghamshire).

Her Royal Highness afterwards visited MK Act Domestic Abuse Intervention Services, Milton Keynes.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Sussex, Captain General, Royal Marines, today visited 42 Commando Royal Marines at Bickleigh Barracks, Dartmoor, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr David Fursdon).

His Royal Highness afterwards presented Green Berets to Royal Marines recruits at Shaugh Prior, Dartmoor.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited City of Glasgow College, Riverside Campus, 21 Thistle Street, Glasgow, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Eva Bolander, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness, President, Victim Support Scotland, this afternoon attended a Reception for Bereaved Families at Abbey House, 10 Bothwell Street, Glasgow.
