Buckingham Palace

Sir Dominick Chilcott was received by The Queen today upon his appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Turkey.

Lady Chilcott was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir David Manning was received by The Queen this afternoon upon relinquishing his appointment as Special Advisor to The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The Lord Carrington and the Hon Virginia Carington were received by Her Majesty and delivered up the Insignia of the Order of the Garter worn by their father, the late Lord Carrington.

The Rt Hon Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Baroness Rawlings (Baroness in Waiting) was present at Royal Air Force Northolt this morning upon the Arrival of The King and Queen of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and welcomed Their Majesties on behalf of The Queen.

The Baroness Manzoor (Baroness in Waiting) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this morning upon the Arrival of The President of the Republic of Slovenia and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.

Buckingham Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon visited the Irish Football Association, National Football Stadium, Windsor Park, Donegall Avenue, Belfast, and were received by Sir Nigel Hamilton (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast).

Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon visited Extern at Roscor Youth Village, 430 Lough Shore Road, Enniskillen, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Fermanagh (the Viscount Brookeborough KG).

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this evening attended a Reception at the Belfast Empire Music Hall, 42 Botanic Avenue, Belfast, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County Borough of Belfast (Mrs Fionnuala-Jay O’Boyle).

Buckingham Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today attended Receptions at St James’s Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.

The President of the Republic of Slovenia called upon The Earl of Wessex at St James’s Palace this afternoon.

His Royal Highness later visited the offices of MI5 at Thames House, 12 Millbank, Westminster, London SW1.

The Countess of Wessex today attended a Foreign and Commonwealth Office Preventing Sexual Violence in Conflict Initiative Conference at Wilton Park, Wiston House, Steyning, West Sussex.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Toronto General and Western Hospital, this afternoon held a Meeting.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the British Nutrition Foundation, this morning attended a Cardiovascular Disease Task Force Report Launch Conference at the Royal Society of Chemistry, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Medical Research Scotland, this afternoon attended a Researcher Showcase, Glasgow Science Centre, 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow, and was received by Dr Nina Baker (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow).

The Princess Royal, Chancellor, the University of Edinburgh, this evening held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

Kensington Palace 

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon officially opened the Greenham Trust Wing at West Berkshire Community Hospital, Benham Hill, Thatcham, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire (Mr James Puxley).

Her Royal Highness afterwards officially opened Carramar House, Church Lane, Thatcham, and was received by Mr Paul Dick (Deputy Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Colonel, Scots Guards, this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Cyprus and this afternoon arrived at Larnaca International Airport.

Captain Alexander Potter is in attendance.

Buckingham Palace

Princess Alexandra, Patron, this afternoon officially opened the North Block at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, Eton Avenue, London NW3.
