COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Rafael Ortiz Fábrega was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Costa Rica to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Laura Valverde Borbón was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Masud Khalifazoda was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Tajikistan to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Mutriba Dzhabborova was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Rt Hon Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this afternoon.

The Queen held a Council at 6pm.

There were present: the Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom MP (Lord President), the Baroness Evans of Bowes Park (Leader of the House of Lords and Lord Privy Seal), the Rt Hon Brandon Lewis MP (Minister without Portfolio) and the Rt Hon Amber Rudd MP (Secretary of State for Work and Pensions).

The Rt Hon Sir Stephen Males, the Rt Hon Dame Vivien Rose and Mrs Elizabeth Saville Roberts MP were sworn in as members of Her Majesty’s Most Honourable Privy Council.

At the Council, The Queen pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of England (other than Cornwall and those in the Duchy of Lancaster) and Wales.

After the Council, Sir Alan Reid had an audience of Her Majesty when The Queen pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of the Duchy of Lancaster.

Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt Hon Andrea Leadsom MP had an audience of Her Majesty before the Council.

The Prince of Wales, President, The Prince’s Trust Group, this morning held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Trust Group, afterwards received Mr Anthony Pratt (Founding and Cornerstone Patron, The Prince’s Trust Australia).

The Prince of Wales, Royal Patron, the Intelligence Agencies, this afternoon received Mr Jeremy Fleming (director, Government Communications Headquarters).

His Royal Highness, President, later attended The Prince’s Trust Awards at the London Palladium, Argyll Street, London W1, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa).

The Prince of Wales, Patron, the National Gallery, with The Queen of Spain, this evening visited the Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light exhibition at the National Gallery, Trafalgar Square, London WC2, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Honorary Member, the Jockey Club, today attended the Cheltenham Festival at Cheltenham Racecourse and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Gloucestershire (Mr Edward Gillespie).

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, this morning held a Trustees’ Meeting.

The Duchess of Sussex, Patron, the Royal National Theatre, this afternoon received Ms Lisa Burger (executive director) and Mr Rufus Norris (artistic director).

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this morning held a Meeting.

The Countess of Wessex this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London from the United States of America.

Mr Alexander Stonor and Mrs Angus Galletley were in attendance.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Fourth Warden, the Fishmongers’ Company, this evening attended a Court Dinner at Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this morning attended a Service of Dedication for the Spalding World War Two Memorial, the Parish Church of Saint Mary and Saint Nicolas, the Vista, Spalding, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lincolnshire (Mr Toby Dennis).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Ayscoughfee Hall Museum and Gardens, Churchgate, Spalding, and unveiled the Spalding World War Two Memorial.

The Duke of Kent, Grand Master, United Grand Lodge of England, today attended a Lunch to celebrate the Launch of the Lincolnshire 2025 Masonic Charitable Foundation Festival at Spalding Masonic Lodge, 21 Pinchbeck Road, Spalding.

His Royal Highness later visited Greencell Limited, West Marsh Road, Spalding.
