The following were received in audience by The Queen today and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mr Andrew Soper (the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela) and Mr Gareth Ward (the Socialist Republic of Vietnam).
Mrs Soper and Mrs Ward were also received by Her Majesty.
The following were received in audience by The Queen upon their appointment as British High Commissioners: Mr David Ward (Solomon Islands) and Ms Joanna Lomas (the Republic of Rwanda).
Mr Christopher Finucane was also received by Her Majesty.
Mrs Nuala McGourty was received by The Queen upon relinquishing her appointment as Retail Director, Royal Collection Enterprises.
The Rt Hon Theresa May MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Foundation, afterwards held a Meeting on architectural and heritage building projects.
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Patron, this afternoon held a Meeting for the International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism.
His Royal Highness later received the Rt Hon Mia Mottley MP (Prime Minister of Barbados).

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this evening held a World Fellowship Anniversary Dinner at Windsor Castle.
The Countess of Wessex, President, Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association, today attended the Royal Norfolk Show at Norfolk Showground, Norwich, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (Sir Richard Jewson).

Her Royal Highness later attended the Fiftieth Anniversary of The Princess Anne Hovercraft launch at the Hovercraft Museum, Broom Way, Lee-on-Solent, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).
