Buckingham Palace

The Duke of York this morning attended the third day of the Test Match between England and Ireland at Lord’s Cricket Ground, St John’s Wood, London NW8.

His Royal Highness, Patron, On Course Foundation, this afternoon attended a Golf Day at the Royal Household Golf Club, Windsor Castle.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited Pendennis Shipyard, the Docks, Falmouth, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall (Colonel Edward Bolitho).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal College of Midwives, this afternoon opened the Delivery Suite at Royal Cornwall Hospital, Treliske, Truro, and was received by Mr Peter Davies (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Cornwall).

The Princess Royal, President, Royal Yachting Association, this afternoon visited the Island Trust Limited at Plymouth Yacht Haven, Shaw Way, Mount Batten, Plymouth, and was received by Rear Admiral Christopher Snow (Deputy Lieutenant of Devon).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester this morning visited Horsham Museum, 9 Causeway, Horsham, to celebrate the One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of the West Sussex County Times, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Sussex (Mrs Susan Pyper).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Aldingbourne Country Centre, Blackmill Lane, Norton, Chichester, and was received by Mr John Shippam (Deputy Lieutenant of West Sussex).

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards officially opened the World Golf Croquet Championships at Sussex County Croquet Club, Victoria Road, Southwick, West Sussex.
