Their Royal Highnesses this afternoon gave a Reception at Kensington Palace for the finalists of BBC Radio One’s Teen Hero Awards.

The Duchess of Sussex, Patron, Association of Commonwealth Universities, this morning attended a Roundtable Discussion at the University of Johannesburg, Auckland Park, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited a gender-based violence education club in Johannesburg and met representatives from ActionAid South Africa and the Teddybear’s Clinic.

The Duke of York this morning visited the Royal Flying Doctor Service at Jandakot, Perth, Western Australia.

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Special Air Service Regiment at Campbell Barracks, Swanbourne, Perth.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, today held Receptions at St James’s Palace for young people who have achieved the Gold Standard in the Award.

His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Countess of Wessex this morning visited Blackpool Grand Theatre, 33 Church Street, Blackpool, to mark its One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire (the Lord Shuttleworth KG).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Blackpool Tower, the Promenade, Blackpool, to mark the One Hundred and Twenty Fifth Anniversary of its opening.

The Countess of Wessex later visited N-Vision, Fylde and Wyre Society for the Blind, Bosworth Place, Squires Gate, Blackpool.

Appendix to Court Circular

The Queen has been pleased to appoint Lieutenant Colonel Stephen Segrave (Secretary, Central Chancery of the Orders of Knighthood) to be an Extra Equerry to Her Majesty, with effect from 1st October, 2019.
