Buckingham Palace

The Queen, Patron, this morning opened the Centenary Development at Haig Housing Trust, Alban Dobson House, Green Lane, Morden, Surrey, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater London (Sir Kenneth Olisa), the Chairman of Trustees (Mrs Catherine Lester-Walker), Brigadier James Richardson (Chief Executive) and the Mayor of Merton (Councillor Janice Howard).

The Queen met residents and beneficiaries before viewing the new buildings, and visiting a family in their home.

Her Majesty subsequently met members of staff, supporters and those involved in the design and construction of the new development.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, today held a Meeting.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex this afternoon received Ms Samantha Cohen upon relinquishing her appointment as Private Secretary to Their Royal Highnesses.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, this morning held a Meeting.

His Royal Highness, Past Patron, Winchester Cathedral Appeal, this afternoon visited the South Transept Exhibition and attended Evensong in Winchester Cathedral and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Hampshire (Mr Nigel Atkinson).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, today carried out the following engagements in Tokyo, Japan.

Her Royal Highness, Member, International Olympic Committee, and Chairman, International Olympic Committee Members Election Commission, this morning visited the Sea Forest Olympic Cross-Country Course, 3 Aomi Koto-ku, and subsequently visited Baji Koen Equestrian Centre, 2-1-1 Kamiyoga, Setagaya-ku.

The Princess Royal this afternoon met participants of a Scottish Food and Drink Promotion Exhibition at the British Embassy, Ichiban-cho, Chiyoda-ku.

Her Royal Highness was later received by The Emperor and Empress of Japan at Akasaka Imperial Palace.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, this evening attended a Reception at the British Embassy.

Her Royal Highness later attended a Dinner at the British Embassy.

The Duke of Kent, President, this morning attended the Beret Parade of The Duke of York’s Royal Military School, Dover, and was received by Mr Richard Oldfield (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Kent).

Princess Alexandra, Patron, this evening attended a Dinner to mark the One Hundred and Eightieth Anniversary of Perennial — Gardeners’ Royal Benevolent Society at Corinthia Hotel London, Whitehall Place, London SW1.
