Buckingham Palace

Mr Bruce Houlder (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at Heathrow Airport, London, this morning upon the Arrival of the Governor-General of Solomon Islands and Lady Vunagi and welcomed Their Excellencies on behalf of The Queen.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning was received by His Holiness Pope Francis at the Basilica of St Peter, Vatican City.

His Royal Highness subsequently attended the Canonisation of Cardinal Newman at St Peter’s Square, Vatican City.

The Prince of Wales later viewed an exhibition on Cardinal Newman’s four visits to Rome, Venerable English College, Vatican City.

His Royal Highness afterwards attended a Reception, Pontificio Collegio Urbano, Vatican City.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon arrived in the United Kingdom from Italy.

Mr Scott Furssedonn-Wood and Mrs Jilly Hurley were in attendance.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, President, the Mission to Seafarers Limited, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning attended a Church Service and Reception at Yokohama Christ Church, 235 Yamatecho, Naka-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, and subsequently attended a Luncheon at the Intercontinental Yokohama Grand, 1-1-1 Minato Mirai, Nichi-ku, Yokohama.

Her Royal Highness, President, Riding for the Disabled Association, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, this afternoon attended a Meeting with Members of Riding for the Disabled Association Japan at the Intercontinental Yokohama Grand, 1-1-1 Minato Mirai, Nichi-ku, Yokohama.

The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later visited the Commonwealth War Graves Commission Hodogaya Cemetery, 238 Karibacho, Hodogaya Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan.

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Admiral Laurence, afterwards attended a Reception at Yokohama Creative City Centre, 6-50-1 Honmachi, Naka-ku, Yokohama.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended the Scotland versus Japan Rugby World Cup Pool Match at the Nissan Stadium, 3300 Kozukuecho, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama.
