COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency Mrs Gurly Gibson was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Liberia to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Harold Schwarz was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Mohamed Abdalla Idris Mohamed was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Sudan to the Court of St James’s.

Mrs Idris was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

His Excellency the Right Reverend David Vunagi was received in audience by The Queen upon his appointment as Governor-General of Solomon Islands when Her Majesty invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St. George. Mrs Vunagi was also received by The Queen.

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of Her Majesty this evening.

Clarence House

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon attended a “Poetry Together” Tea Party at Eaton Square Upper School, Piccadilly, London W1, and was received by Lady Arnold (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Book Trust, afterwards held a Twentieth Anniversary Tea at Clarence House for the Waterstones Children’s Laureates.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Vice Patron, the Royal Commonwealth Society, this evening attended the High Commissioners Reception at Guildhall, London EC2.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge today carried out the following engagements in Pakistan.

Their Royal Highnesses this morning visited a glacier in Broghil National Park.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this afternoon visited a flood site to learn of the impacts of climate change in Bumburet.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards viewed a first aid drill in Bumburet.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge subsequently visited the Kalash Minority Village in Bumburet.

Their Royal Highnesses this evening received the Chief of Army Staff (General Qamar Javed Bajwa) and Mrs Qamar Bajwa at the Residence of the British High Commissioner in Islamabad.

The Duke of Sussex this afternoon attended a Reception given by the Endeavour Fund at Kensington Palace.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Court Assistant, the Worshipful Company of Fuellers, today held a Meeting at St James’s Palace.

His Royal Highness, Patron, this afternoon held a Meeting at St. James’s Palace for the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Chorus.

The Earl of Wessex, Court Assistant, the Worshipful Company of Fuellers, this afternoon attended the Installation Court at Mansion House, London EC4.

His Royal Highness, Master, the Worshipful Company of Fuellers, this evening attended a Dinner at Mansion House.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Kosovo.

Her Royal Highness this evening arrived at Pristina International Airport, Adem Jashari, and was received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kosovo (His Excellency Mr Nicholas Abbott).

Mr Alexander Stonor is in attendance.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal this morning visited the Hotel Chocolat factory, Hadley Park Factory, 3 Redwongs Way, Huntingdon, and was received by Mrs J Pearson (Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Police Firearms Officers’ Association Museum of Armed Policing, the Old Police Station, 18 East Park Street, Chatteris, and was received by Mr Richard Barnwell (Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

The Princess Royal later visited Corkers Crisps factory, Willow Farm, Pymoor Common, Little Downham, and was received by Mr C Parkhouse (Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridgeshire).

Her Royal Highness, President, Animal Health Trust, this evening attended the United Kingdom Equestrian Awards Dinner at the Landmark London, 222 Marylebone Road, London NW1, and was received by the Reverend Canon Dr Flora Winfield (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
