Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency Ms Lakisha Grant was received by The Queen today upon her appointment as High Commissioner for Grenada in London.

The following were received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Mr Simon Boyden (the Islamic Republic of Mauritania) and Ms Catherine Evans (the Republic of Mali).

Mrs Nathalie Gallagher and Staff Sergeant Carl Scott were also received by Her Majesty.

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

The Prince of Wales this morning arrived at Tokyo Haneda Airport and, having been received by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Japan (His Excellency Mr Paul Madden), undertook engagements in Tokyo.

The Prince of Wales, representing The Queen, this afternoon attended the Ceremony of Enthronement of Emperor Naruhito of Japan at the Imperial Palace.

His Royal Highness later visited the Nezu Museum Garden.

The Prince of Wales this evening attended the Enthronement Court Banquet at the Imperial Palace.

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning opened the new Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases and Brownsword Therapies Centre, Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust, Combe Park, Bath, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Somerset (Mrs Richard Maw).

Her Royal Highness afterwards attended a Reception to mark the Twentieth Anniversary of the Forever Friends Appeal at the Oasis Centre, Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.

The Duchess of Cornwall later visited Bath Soft Cheese Limited, Park Farm, Kelston, Bath.

The President of the Republic of Seychelles this afternoon visited The Duke of Cambridge, representing The Queen, at Buckingham Palace.

The Duchess of Sussex this evening attended the opening ceremony of the One Young World Summit at the Royal Albert Hall, Kensington Gore, London SW7.

The Duke of York, Patron, World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention, this morning received His Excellency Mr Gao Yunlong (Chairman, All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce) at the Excel Centre, Royal Victoria Dock, London E16.

His Royal Highness, Patron, afterwards officially opened the World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention at the Excel Centre.

The Duke of York, Colonel-in-Chief, Royal Irish Regiment, this afternoon received Lieutenant Colonel Paul Walkley upon relinquishing his appointment as Commanding Officer of 2nd Battalion and Lieutenant Colonel Simon Baxter upon assuming the appointment.

His Royal Highness, Patron, World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention, this evening held a Dinner at Buckingham Palace.

The Countess of Wessex this afternoon attended The Countess of Wessex Cup between Royal Air Force Wittering, 5th Battalion The Rifles, Corps of Army Music and Queen Alexandra’s Royal Army Nursing Corps, of which Her Royal Highness is Honorary Air Commodore, Royal Colonel, Colonel-in-Chief and Colonel-in-Chief respectively, at St John Moore Barracks, Winchester, Hampshire.

The Princess Royal, Chancellor, the University of Edinburgh, this morning attended a Reception to mark the Three Hundredth Anniversary of the Chairman of History at Playfair Library Hall, Old College, South Bridge, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, the Royal Caledonian Charities Trust, this afternoon attended a Reception at Archers’ Hall, 66 Buccleuch Street, Edinburgh.

The Princess Royal, Colonel-in-Chief, later visited 154 (Scottish) Regiment Royal Logistic Corps, Elgin Street, Dunfermline, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Fife (Mr Robert Balfour).

Her Royal Highness, Chancellor, the University of Edinburgh, this evening attended the Usher Institute Dinner at Edinburgh Castle and was received by Brigadier John Thomson (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Tower Hill Trust, this afternoon opened the newly restored Tower Hill Terrace and was received by Mr Leslie Morgan (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).
