Buckingham Palace

The Queen gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening for recently retired and appointed Lord-Lieutenants.

The Princess Royal, The Duchess of Gloucester and The Duke of Kent were present.

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

Her Majesty was represented by Colonel Toby Browne (Crown Equerry) at the Memorial Service for Miss Sylvia Stanier, which was held at the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Maidwell, Northamptonshire, this afternoon.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning visited ETL Systems Limited, Coldwell Radio Station Madley, Kingstone, Hereford, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Herefordshire (the Dowager Countess of Darnley).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited Ross-on-Wye and launched the Gilpin 2020 Festival at the Old Market House, Market Place, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Health and Hope UK, later received Dr Sasa Taing San (Founder).

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Patron, Child Bereavement UK, this afternoon received Mrs Ann Chalmers (Chief Executive).

His Royal Highness, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, afterwards held a Meeting.

The Duke of York this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport, London, from Thailand.

Mrs Amanda Thirsk was in attendance.

His Royal Highness this evening attended a Reception at the House of Lords, London SW1, to celebrate the Tenth Anniversary of Tickets For Troops.

The Duke of York, Founder, afterwards held a Dinner at St James’s Palace for supporters of Pitch@Palace.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation, this afternoon chaired Meetings at Award House, 7-11 St Matthew Street, London SW1.

His Royal Highness, Commodore-in-Chief, Royal Fleet Auxiliary, this afternoon held a Meeting.

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, Northern Ballet, this evening attended the opening night of Mixed Performance at the Linbury Theatre, Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London WC2.

The Countess of Wessex this morning departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Norway, and, having been received this afternoon upon arrival at Oslo Gardermoen Airport by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway (His Excellency Mr Richard Wood), subsequently undertook engagements in Oslo.

Her Royal Highness attended the International Civil Society Action Network Forum at Scandic Holmenkollen Park Hotel, Kongeveien 26.

The Countess of Wessex later attended a Reception at the Residence.

Mr Alexander Stonor is in attendance.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, President, UK Fashion and Textile Association, this afternoon visited the new offices of Gloverall plc, 3 Queen Square, London WC1, and was received by Sir Ian Johnston (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, President, Carers Trust, this evening attended a Dinner at the Ritz, 150 Piccadilly, London W1.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Chancellor, University of Worcester, today carried out the following engagements in Worcester and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire (Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft).

His Royal Highness this afternoon attended the Graduation Lunch at the University of Worcester Arena, Hylton Road.

The Duke of Gloucester afterwards attended the Graduate Award Ceremony for the Institute of Science and the Environment and the Worcester Business School at Worcester Cathedral.

His Royal Highness later attended a Reception at the University of Worcester Arena, Hylton Road.

The Duchess of Gloucester this morning visited Leukaemia Care, One Birch Court, Blackpole East, Worcester, to mark its Fiftieth Anniversary, and was received by the Hon Lady Morrison (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Worcestershire).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon visited Berrington Court, Felix Baxter Drive, Kidderminster, Worcestershire.
