Buckingham Palace

The Governor of Queensland (His Excellency the Hon Paul de Jersey) was received in audience by The Queen today.

Mrs de Jersey was also received by Her Majesty.

The following were received in audience by The Queen this afternoon and kissed hands upon their appointment as Her Majesty’s Ambassadors: Dr Alastair McPhail (the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia), Mr Andrew Noble (Romania) and Mr Christopher Rampling (the Lebanese Republic).

Mrs McPhail, Mrs Noble and Mrs Rampling were also received by Her Majesty.

Mr Martyn Roper was received in audience by The Queen and kissed hands upon his appointment as Governor of the Cayman Islands.

Mrs Roper was also received by Her Majesty.

The Duke of Cambridge, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Buckingham Palace this morning.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this morning attended an official Welcome Ceremony at Government House, Auckland, New Zealand.

The Prince of Wales afterwards received the Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition (the Hon Mr Simon Bridges MP) at Government House.

His Royal Highness received the Prime Minister of New Zealand (the Rt Hon Jacinda Ardern MP) at Government House.

The Prince of Wales this afternoon visited Sea Cleaners Charitable Trust, Auckland Harbour, and departed by boat for Wynward Quarter, Auckland.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall visited the Headquarters of Emirates Team New Zealand, Wynward Quarter.

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Campaign for Wool, later held a Meeting, Cordis Hotel, Symonds Street, Auckland.

His Royal Highness, President, subsequently attended a Reception for The Prince’s Trust New Zealand, Mantells, Mount Eden Road, Mount Eden.

The Prince of Wales afterwards joined a Meeting on Sustainable Urbanisation, Cordis Hotel.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall this evening attended a Reception at Government House given by the Governor-General of New Zealand (the Rt Hon Dame Patricia Reddy).

The Duchess of Cornwall this morning visited the Headquarters of Shine, New North Road, Kingsland, and joined a discussion on domestic violence.

Her Royal Highness, President, Women of the World Festival, this afternoon attended “Think In” at Government House, Auckland.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex today attended a Reception for the Comic Relief Investment Committee, the Conduit, 40 Conduit Street, London W1.

His Royal Highness, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this afternoon held a Trustees’ Meeting at Buckingham Palace.

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this evening attended a Trustees’ Dinner at Spencer House, 27 St James’s Place, London SW1.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux, this morning attended the 80th Anniversary Annual Conference and Annual General Meeting at Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill Street, Manchester, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Greater Manchester (Mr Warren Smith).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for the United States of America and was later received upon arrival at O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, Illinois, by Her Majesty’s Acting Consul-General for Chicago (Miss Maria Rennie).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Opportunity International United Kingdom, this evening attended a Reception at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel, 11 East Walton Street, Chicago.

Mr Charles Davies is in attendance.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Joint President, Cancer Research UK, this evening attended a Dinner at the Bank of England, Threadneedle Street, London EC2.

The Duchess of Gloucester this afternoon departed from Heathrow Airport, London, for Spain.

St James’s Palace

Princess Alexandra, President, Royal Humane Society, this afternoon attended the Stanhope Gold Medal Luncheon at Fishmongers’ Hall, London Bridge, London EC4.
