COURT CIRCULAR

Buckingham Palace

His Excellency Mr Andreas Kakouris was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Cyprus in London.

Mrs Kakouris was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Mr Vanja Filipovićwas received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Court of St James’s.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Rt Hon Justin Trudeau MP (Prime Minister of Canada) was received in audience by The Queen this afternoon.

His Excellency Mr Jens Stoltenberg (Secretary-General of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation) was received by The Queen.

Ms Ingrid Schulerud was also received by Her Majesty.

The Queen gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace this evening for North Atlantic Treaty Organisation leaders to mark 70 years of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation alliance.

The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duchess of Cambridge, The Princess Royal and The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester were present.

Mr Vincent Thompson (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Essex) was present at Stansted Airport, London, this morning upon the arrival of The President of the Republic of Turkey and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

Colonel Christopher Sharwood-Smith (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Bedfordshire) was present at Luton Airport this morning upon the arrival of The President of the Czech Republic and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.

Brigadier David Harrison (Deputy Lieutenant of Hampshire) was present at Farnborough Airport today upon the arrival of The President of the Slovak Republic and welcomed Her Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

Mr Bruce Houlder (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London) was present at Royal Air Force Northolt this afternoon upon the arrival of The President of the French Republic and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of Her Majesty.

Rear-Admiral Roy Clare (Deputy Lieutenant of Essex) was present at Stansted Airport, London, this afternoon upon the arrival of The President of the Republic of Bulgaria and welcomed His Excellency on behalf of The Queen.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning received the Hon Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama (Prime Minister of the Republic of Fiji).

His Royal Highness received the Rt Hon Justin Trudeau MP (Prime Minister of Canada).

The Prince of Wales, on behalf of The Queen, gave a Reception at Buckingham Palace this afternoon and presented The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering.

His Royal Highness afterwards received Mrs Erna Solberg (Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Norway).

The Prince of Wales received Mr Giuseppe Conte (Prime Minister of the Italian Republic).

The President of the United States of America and Mrs Trump called upon The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall at Clarence House.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge this morning attended a Reception given by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the State of Kuwait (His Excellency Mr Michael Davenport) at the Residence in Kuwait City, Kuwait, to mark the 120th Anniversary of UK-Kuwait relations.

His Royal Highness subsequently called upon Sheikh Mohamed Abdullah (Deputy Minister of the Amiri Diwan).

The Duke of Cambridge later viewed Exercise Desert Warrior at Kuwait National Guard Camp Sheikh Salam Ali.

His Royal Highness afterwards received Sheikh Ali Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah (Head of the Amiri Diwan).

The Duke of Cambridge subsequently departed from Kuwait International Airport for Oman and was received upon arrival at Khasab Airport, Musandam, by Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman (His Excellency Mr Hamish Cowell) and Sayyid Ibrahim bin Said bin Ibrahim Al-Busaidi (Governor and Minister of State for Musandam).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the Oman Royal Naval Base at Musandam.

The Duke of Cambridge afterwards visited the Omani Royal Naval Ship RNOV RASIKH.

His Royal Highness afterwards called upon Rear-Admiral Abdullah bin Khamis Al Raisi (Commander Royal Navy of Oman).

Later The Duke of Cambridge was welcomed to Muscat by His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq bin Taimur Al Said (Minister of Heritage and Culture).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Save the Children UK, this morning attended a Board Meeting and subsequently visited staff at 1 St John’s Lane, London EC1.

Her Royal Highness, President, the Mission to Seafarers Limited, this afternoon attended a Carol Service at St Michael Paternoster Royal, College Hill, London EC4, and a Reception at Skinners’ Hall, 8 1/2 Dowgate Hill, London EC4.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys), this afternoon took the salute at a Regimental Parade through Edinburgh and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).

His Royal Highness later attended a Service and Laying Up of The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys) Standard in Canongate Kirk, Edinburgh.

The Duke of Kent, Deputy Colonel-in-Chief, The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers and Greys), this evening attended a Regimental Dinner at the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
