Buckingham Palace

Her Excellency Mrs Fatimata Dia was received in audience by The Queen today and presented the Letters of Recall of her predecessor and her own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of Senegal to the Court of St James’s.

Mr Mouhamadou Falilou Diagne was also received by Her Majesty.

His Excellency Lieutenant-General Paul Mihova was received in audience by The Queen and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Zambia in London.

Mrs Mihova was also received by Her Majesty.

Sir Simon McDonald (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.

The Lord Peel (Lord Chamberlain) had an audience of The Queen this afternoon and presented an Address from the House of Lords to which Her Majesty was graciously pleased to make reply.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, President, the Royal Shakespeare Company, this morning visited the costume workshop, Waterside, Stratford-upon-Avon, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Warwickshire (Mr Timothy Cox).

His Royal Highness this afternoon visited the National Automotive Innovation Centre, Lord Bhattacharyya Way, Coventry, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of West Midlands (Mr John Crabtree).

The Prince of Wales, Patron, Almshouse Association, afterwards visited the Nicholas Chamberlaine Almshouses, All Saints Square, Bedworth.

His Royal Highness later visited the Veterans Contact Point, Armed Forces Centre, the Horsa Building, Bentley Road, Nuneaton.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Versus Arthritis, this evening attended a Reception for Women in Science in the State Apartments, St James’s Palace.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen and as President, UK Fashion and Textile Association, this afternoon presented The Queen Elizabeth II Award for British Design, St Etheldreda’s Church, 14 Ely Place, London EC1.

Her Royal Highness, President, Carers Trust, this evening attended the Euromoney Wealth Management Awards Dinner at Guildhall, London EC2.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, Canine Partners for Independence, this morning received Mrs Nicola Martin (Chief Executive Officer) and Mrs Jacqueline Staunton (Chairman of Trustees).

His Royal Highness, President, Cambridge House, this afternoon received Ms Karin Woodley (Chief Executive).

The Duke of Gloucester this evening presented a Royal Charter to the Worshipful Company of Chartered Architects at Mansion House, Walbrook, London EC4.

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent this morning opened the renovated Brentwood Town Hall, Ingrave Road, Brentwood, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst).

His Royal Highness, President, the Scout Association, this afternoon visited the Essex County Scout Camp at Skreens Park Activity Centre, Skreens Park Road, Roxwell, Chelmsford, Essex.

The Duke of Kent later visited Lodge Coaches, JW Lodge and Sons, the Street, High Easter, Chelmsford, to mark its Centenary.
