Windsor Castle

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen via telephone this evening.

The Duke of Edinburgh today took the salute at the Bugle Call, “No More Parades”, at Windsor Castle upon His Royal Highness retiring as Colonel-in-Chief, The Rifles.

The Prince of Wales this morning visited Middlemoor Fire Station, Exeter, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Devon (Mr David Fursdon).

The Duchess of Cornwall, Royal Colonel, 4th Battalion The Rifles, this morning received Lieutenant Colonel James Allen (Commanding Officer).

The Duchess of Cornwall was present this afternoon at a Ceremony upon Her Royal Highness’s appointment as Colonel-in-Chief, The Rifles.

The Duchess of Cornwall, Colonel-in-Chief, The Rifles, afterwards received General Sir Patrick Sanders (Colonel Commandant).

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning held a Meeting via video link.

His Royal Highness later spoke to staff and community representatives of Herefordshire Council via video link.

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon spoke to staff, volunteers and beneficiaries at Hope Support Services, Overross House, Ross Park, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, via video link.

The Duke of Kent, Royal Colonel, 1st Battalion The Rifles, this morning held a Meeting with Lieutenant Colonel Mark Shercliff (Commanding Officer) and Major Nicholas White (Second-in-Command) via video link to commemorate the Battle of Salamanca, Regimental Day of The Rifles.
