The Queen and The Countess of Wessex, Global Ambassador, International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness, this afternoon spoke via video link to Mr Peter Holland (Chief Executive Officer) and three specialists in eye care delivery to mark World Sight Day.

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of Her Majesty via telephone this evening.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Patron, Campaign for Wool, this morning received Mr Ian Urquhart (President, Johnstons of Elgin) and Ms Jenny Urquhart (Chairman, Johnstons of Elgin).

The Duchess of Cornwall, President, the Maggie Keswick Jencks Cancer Caring Centres Trust, this morning visited Maggie’s Barts, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, West Smithfield, London EC1.

Kensington Palace

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge this morning held a Meeting with SOS Children’s Village in Pakistan via video link.

Their Royal Highnesses afterwards spoke to pupils from Islamabad Model College for Girls, Pakistan, via video link.

The President of Ukraine and Mrs Zelenska later called upon The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at Buckingham Palace.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron, this afternoon attended a Meeting with Ms Fiona McWilliams (Executive Director of Development) at the Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, London SW7.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Royal Colonel, this morning visited 2nd Battalion The Rifles at Thiepval Barracks, Magheralave Road, Lisburn, County Antrim.

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Lisburn City Church Community Trust, 1 Graham Gardens, Lisburn, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Antrim (Mr David McCorkell).

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon visited Unicorn Group, the Green, Riverbank, Tullynacross Road, Lisburn.

His Royal Highness later visited Denroy Plastics, 9-11 Balloo Drive, Bangor, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Down (Mr David Lindsay).

The Countess of Wessex this morning visited the National Space Centre, Exploration Drive, Leicester, to mark World Space Week and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Leicestershire (Mr Michael Kapur).

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Vice Patron, the British Horse Society, this morning visited a Schools Education Programme, Holme St Cuthbert School, Mawbray, Maryport, and was received by Mrs Deborah Keighley (Deputy Lieutenant of Cumbria).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Royal College of Occupational Therapists, this afternoon opened the University of Central Lancashire Occupational Therapy Skills Suite, School of Sport and Health Sciences, Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, Preston, and was received by Mrs Christine Kirk (Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Lancashire).

The Duke of Gloucester, President, British Expertise International, this morning received Mr Thomas Cargill (Chief Executive) and Ms Alexandra Barnes (Director, Strategic Initiatives).
