Windsor Castle

The Queen held a Council via video link at 2.30pm.

There were present: the Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Dr Thérèse Coffey MP (Secretary of State for Work and Pensions), the Rt Hon Dominic Raab MP (Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs and First Secretary of State) and the Rt Hon Grant Shapps MP (Secretary of State for Transport).

Mr Richard Tilbrook was in attendance as Clerk of the Council.

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of Her Majesty via telephone this evening.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge this morning spoke to Armed Forces personnel involved in the Covid-19 vaccine rollout, via video link.

His Royal Highness, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, afterwards held a Meeting for the Earthshot Prize.

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon joined Mrs Ann Radmore (Regional Director, NHS England and NHS Improvement, East of England) at her weekly leadership call with the East of England’s Clinical Commissioning Group Accountable Officers and Trust Chief Executive Officers via video link.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this morning held a Meeting via video link with apprentices to mark National Apprenticeship Week.

His Royal Highness this afternoon held a Meeting with Assistant Chief Constable Mark Cooper (Chairman of Wiltshire Strategic Co-ordinating Group) via telephone.

The Earl of Wessex, Patron, Bristol, Clifton and West of England Zoological Society, the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society, the Central Caribbean Marine Institute and the London Gardens Society, subsequently held a Meeting via video link.

The Countess of Wessex, Grand President, St John Ambulance in the Priory of England and the Islands, this morning held a Meeting with Mrs Ann Cable (Chief Commissioner) via video link.

Her Royal Highness this afternoon participated in a Meeting held by the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security via video link.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Past Master, the Worshipful Company of Butchers and the Worshipful Company of Farmers, this evening attended the City Food Lecture via video link.
