COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

The Queen today spoke via video link to Dr Margaret Aderin-Pocock (Managing Director, Science Innovation Limited), Professor Caroline Smith (Head of Earth Science Collections, Natural History Museum), Ms Alexandra White and Ms Fiona Evans (Explainers, Science Museum) and five pupils from Thomas Jones Primary School, St Mark’s Road, Notting Hill, London W11, to mark British Science Week.

Her Majesty held a Council via video link at 2.30pm.

There were present: the Rt Hon Jacob Rees-Mogg MP (Lord President), the Rt Hon Michael Gove MP (Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster), the Rt Hon Simon Hart MP (Secretary of State for Wales) and the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP (Chancellor of the Exchequer).

At the Council, The Queen pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of England (other than Cornwall and those in the Duchy of Lancaster) and Wales.

After the Council, the Rt Hon Michael Gove MP had an audience of The Queen when Her Majesty pricked the List of High Sheriffs for the Counties of the Duchy of Lancaster.

Mrs Ceri King was in attendance as Deputy Clerk of the Council.

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen via telephone this evening.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales, Chairman, the Royal Collection Trust, this morning chaired a Meeting of the Trustees via video link.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge, Commodore-in-Chief, Submarines, this afternoon held a Meeting with Commodore James Perks (Commander, Faslane Flotilla) via video link.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, later held a Meeting via video link with the Lord Hague of Richmond (Chairman), Mr Simon Patterson (Vice-Chairman) and Mr Jason Knauf (Chief Executive).

St James’s Palace

Today is the Anniversary of the Birthday of The Earl of Wessex.

His Royal Highness, Patron, the Hall for Cornwall Trust, Classworks Theatre and ADC Theatre, and President, the Royal Theatrical Support Trust, this afternoon held a Meeting via video link.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Member, International Olympic Committee, and Chairman, International Olympic Committee Members Election Commission, today attended the International Olympic Committee Session via video link.
