Windsor Castle

The Lord Parker of Minsmere had an audience of The Queen today, kissed hands upon his appointment as Lord Chamberlain and received from Her Majesty the Wand and Insignia of Office and the Badge of Chancellor of the Royal Victorian Order, when The Queen invested him with the Insignia of a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order.

The Princess Royal, Royal Honorary Member, Royal Yacht Squadron, this morning viewed Youth Training at the Castle, Cowes, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the Isle of Wight (Mrs Susan Sheldon).

Her Royal Highness, President, Royal Yachting Association, this afternoon visited the Royal Victoria Yacht Club, 91 Fishbourne Lane, Ryde, Isle of Wight, on the occasion of its One Hundred and Seventy Fifth Anniversary.
