Windsor Castle

His Excellency Mr Papa Owusu-Ankomah was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Commission as High Commissioner for the Republic of Ghana in London.

His Excellency Mr Mohsen Baharvand was received in audience by Her Majesty via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Court of St James’s.

Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs) was present.

The Prince of Wales this morning visited Riversimple, Unit 32, Ddole Enterprise Park, Llandrindod Wells, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Powys (Mrs Tia Jones).

His Royal Highness this afternoon received the Poet Laureate (Mr Simon Armitage).

The Duchess of Cornwall this afternoon visited Hay-on-Wye and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Powys (Mrs Tia Jones).

Her Royal Highness visited Richard Booth’s Bookshop, 44 Lion Street.

The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited Addyman Books, 39 Lion Street.

Her Royal Highness subsequently visited Murder and Mayhem, 5 Lion Street.

The Duchess of Cornwall afterwards visited Shepherd’s Ice Cream Parlour, 9 High Town.

Her Royal Highness later received the Poet Laureate (Mr Simon Armitage).

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Vision Foundation, this afternoon participated in a Tandem Bicycle Ride around Bushy Park, Hampton Court Road, Hampton, Middlesex.

The Princess Royal, Royal Fellow, the Royal Academy of Engineering, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning visited the Thames Tideway Tunnel, Chelsea Embankment, London SW3, and was received by General Sir Adrian Bradshaw (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

Her Royal Highness, Patron, Opportunity International, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening attended a Reception to mark the charity’s Fiftieth Anniversary at the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn, 8 South Square, London WC1, and was received by Ms Roxane Zand (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, later attended a Friends of Scottish Rugby Reception at the Caledonian Club, 9 Halkin Street, London SW1.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Strawberry Hill Trust, this morning held a Meeting with Mr Paul Kafka (Chairman) and Mr Derek Purnell (Director) via video link.

The Duke of Gloucester, Liveryman, the Worshipful Company of Masons, this afternoon attended the Midsummer Court Luncheon at Mercers’ Hall, Ironmonger Lane, London EC2, to mark the Twenty Fifth Anniversary of His Royal Highness becoming an Honorary Court Assistant of the Company.
