The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, President, The Prince’s Foundation, and The Duchess of Rothesay this morning unveiled a knitted art installation at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire, in celebration of the Foundation’s Knitwise training programme.

Their Royal Highnesses later joined a gathering of local food and craft producers at Alloway Village Hall, Ayr, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Ayrshire and Arran (Sheriff Iona McDonald).

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, Patron, the National Trust for Scotland, and The Duchess of Rothesay afterwards visited Burns Cottage, 16 Alloway, Ayr.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Foundation, this afternoon officially opened the artists’ retreat at Coachford Cottage on Dumfries House Estate.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, later received His Holiness Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (Spiritual Leader of the Dawoodi Bohra Community) at Dumfries House.

His Royal Highness, President, The Prince’s Foundation, this evening held a Dinner at Dumfries House.

The Duchess of Rothesay this afternoon visited South Ayrshire Women’s Aid.

Her Royal Highness later held a Reception at Dumfries House for Women in Journalism.

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon visited Dockhead Fire Station, 8 Wolseley Street, London SE1, to mark Emergency Services Day.

His Royal Highness, Joint Patron, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, later held a Meeting at Kensington Palace with emergency responders.

Her Royal Highness, President, Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth, this afternoon attended the Annual General Meeting at Westmorland County Agricultural Showground, Crooklands.

The Princess Royal, President, the City and Guilds of London Institute, this evening attended a Dinner held by The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay at Dumfries House, Cumnock, Ayrshire.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Gloucester, Vice Royal Patron, the Almshouse Association, this morning visited St Mary Magdalen House, Simons Lane, Colchester, to celebrate St Mary Magdalen Hospital Almshouse charity’s Nine Hundredth Anniversary and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Essex (Mrs Jennifer Tolhurst).

His Royal Highness, Vice Royal Patron, the Almshouse Association, afterwards visited the Winnocks and Kendall Almshouse development, Military Road, Colchester.

The Duke of Gloucester this afternoon visited Open Road, 12 North Hill, Colchester.

His Royal Highness subsequently visited Firstsite, Lewis Gardens, High Street, Colchester, to celebrate their Tenth Anniversary.
