Colonel Peter McCarthy (Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire) and Professor Gordon Masterton (Deputy Lieutenant of Renfrewshire) were present at Glasgow Airport today upon the Arrivals of The President of the French Republic, The President of Hungary, The Emir of the State of Qatar and The President of the Swiss Confederation and welcomed His Highness and Their Excellencies on behalf of The Queen.

The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay today attended the United Nations Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) Opening Ceremony at the Scottish Event Campus, Exhibition Way, Glasgow.
His Royal Highness afterwards received The President of the Republic of Indonesia.
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay received The President of Romania.
His Royal Highness received The President of the Republic of Colombia.
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay received The President of the Slovak Republic.
His Royal Highness received The President of the French Republic.
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay, with The President of the French Republic and The President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, subsequently held an “Accelerating Restoration in Africa, the Case of the Great Green Wall” Meeting.
The Prince Charles, Duke of Rothesay and The Duchess of Rothesay later attended a Sustainable Markets Initiative and Earthshot Reception at the Clydeside Distillery, 100 Stobcross Road, Glasgow.
Their Royal Highnesses this evening attended the COP26 Reception at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, Argyle Street, Glasgow, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Philip Braat, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
The Duchess of Rothesay this afternoon visited Wallacewell Primary School, 305 Standburn Road, Glasgow, and was received by Mr John MacLeod (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow).
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Cambridge and The Duchess of Cambridge, Joint President, the Scout Association, this afternoon visited the 105th Glasgow Scout Group at Alexandra Park Sports Hub, Sannox Gardens, Glasgow, and were received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Philip Braat, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
Their Royal Highnesses, Joint Patrons, the Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, later attended a Sustainable Markets Initiative and Earthshot Reception at the Clydeside Distillery, 100 Stobcross Road, Glasgow.
