COURT CIRCULAR

Windsor Castle

The Lord Anderson of Ipswich was received by The Queen this afternoon and delivered up the Insignia of the Order of the Thistle worn by his father, the late Sir Eric Anderson.

Sarah, the Lady Ashburton was received by Her Majesty and delivered up the Insignia of the Order of the Garter worn by her husband, the late Lord Ashburton.

The Rt Hon Boris Johnson MP (Prime Minister and First Lord of the Treasury) had an audience of The Queen this evening.

The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this afternoon.

Clarence House

The Prince of Wales this morning arrived at Royal Air Force Brize Norton from Barbados.

Mr Clive Alderton, Mr Christopher Fitzgerald, Mr Simon Enright, Mrs Jilly Hurley, Ms Eva Omaghomi, Dr Robert Powell and Major Jonathan Thompson were in attendance.

Kensington Palace

The Duke of Cambridge this afternoon received the United Kingdom winners of the Diana Award Charity’s Legacy Award.

St James’s Palace

The Earl of Wessex this morning held a Meeting with the Rt Hon Nadine Dorries, MP (Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport) via video link.

His Royal Highness, President, Creative Youth, this afternoon received Dr Robin Hutchinson (Chairman of Trustees).

The Earl of Wessex, Trustee, The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, this evening attended a Dinner at Kensington Palace.

The Countess of Wessex, Patron, Disability Initiative, this morning visited the Resource Centre, Knoll Road, Camberley, to mark the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities and was received by Mr William Biddell (Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon held a Meeting with Caritas Shelter, Lebanon, via video link.

St James’s Palace

The Princess Royal, Patron, Royal Geographical Society, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this evening presented Medals and Awards at a Ceremony at 1 Kensington Gore, London SW7, and was received by Mr Stuart Shilson (Deputy Lieutenant of Greater London).

St James’s Palace

The Duke of Kent, Patron, St Mungo’s, this morning visited the Bristol Wing, 9 Bridewell Street, Bristol, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the County and City of Bristol (Mrs Peaches Golding).

His Royal Highness afterwards visited Avon Fire and Rescue Service at Temple Fire Station, Temple Back, Bristol.

The Duke of Kent this afternoon presented The Queen’s Award for Enterprise to Ashley Community and Housing Limited, Eden House, Eastgate Business Centre, Eastgate Road, Bristol.
