Sandringham, Norfolk

Her Majesty today received members of local volunteer groups who were introduced to The Queen by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk (the Lady Dannatt).

The Mayor of the Borough of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk (Councillor Harry Humphrey) presented an Address from the Borough on the occasion of the Seventieth Anniversary of Her Majesty’s Accession.

The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this afternoon attended the International Rugby Match between Scotland and England at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh (Councillor Francis Ross, the Rt Hon the Lord Provost).
