The Duke of Cambridge this morning received the High Commissioner of Belize (Her Excellency Mrs Therese Rath), the High Commissioner of Jamaica (His Excellency Mr Seth George Ramocan) and the High Commissioner of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas (His Excellency Mr Ellison Greenslade).

The Earl of Wessex this afternoon received His Excellency the Governor-General of Antigua and Barbuda and Lady Williams.

The Princess Royal, President, UK Fashion and Textile Association, this morning visited Macnaughton Holdings’ kiltmaking facility at Blacklaw Lane, Paisley, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Renfrewshire (Colonel Peter McCarthy).

Her Royal Highness this afternoon opened “the Craig” public park in Ravenscraig, Motherwell, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Lanarkshire (the Lady Haughey).

The Princess Royal afterwards visited Springbank Park Gypsy and Travelling Persons site at Kirktonholme Road, East Kilbride, and was received by Mr Gavin Whitefield (Deputy Lieutenant of Lanarkshire).

Her Royal Highness, Royal Patron, Friends of TS Queen Mary, later toured TS QUEEN MARY, was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow (Councillor Philip Braat, the Rt Hon. the Lord Provost) and subsequently attended a Reception at Glasgow Science Centre, 50 Pacific Quay, Glasgow.

The Princess Royal, Patron, St. Andrew’s First Aid, this evening attended the One Hundred and Fortieth Anniversary Reception and opened the Scottish First Aid Awards at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Glasgow, 301 Argyle Street, Glasgow, and was received by Dr Rajan Madhok (Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Glasgow).
