Windsor Castle
His Excellency Mr Pascal Gayama was received in audience by The Queen today via video link and presented his Letters of Credence as Ambassador from the Republic of the Congo to the Court of St James’s.
His Excellency Mr Salah Mrehil was received in audience by The Queen via video link and presented the Letters of Recall of his predecessor and his own Letters of Credence as Ambassador from Libya to the Court of St James’s.
Mrs Hanaa Gbasa was also received by Her Majesty.
Sir Philip Barton (Permanent Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs) was present.
The Princess Royal, on behalf of The Queen, held an Investiture at Windsor Castle this afternoon.
Clarence House
The Prince of Wales this morning visited Darlington Farmers Auction Mart, Humbleton Park, Darlington, and was received by Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Durham (Mrs Susan Snowdon).
His Royal Highness afterwards visited Kromek Group plc, Netpark, Thomas Wright Way, Sedgefield, County Durham.
The Prince of Wales this afternoon received The Queen of Spain at Auckland Castle, Market Place, Bishop Auckland, County Durham.
His Royal Highness and Her Majesty afterwards officially opened the Spanish Gallery in Market Place, Bishop Auckland.
The Duchess of Cornwall, Patron, Royal Society of Literature of the United Kingdom, this afternoon received Mrs Bernadine Evaristo upon assuming her appointment as President.
Her Royal Highness later held a Tea at Clarence House to celebrate the Olivier Awards.
St James’s Palace
The Princess Royal, accompanied by Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, this morning attended a Service of Reflection and Remembrance in St. Faith’s Chapel, St Paul’s Cathedral, London EC4, on the Fortieth Anniversary of the Departure of the South Atlantic Task Force for the Falkland Islands.
Kensington Palace
The Duke of Gloucester, Patron, the Strawberry Hill Trust, this afternoon visited Strawberry Hill House, 268 Waldegrave Road, Twickenham, Middlesex.
